BOLDENO UD250 — IN DEPTH.
What Boldenone Undecylenate is
Boldenone Undecylenate, known to most lifters as "EQ" or Equipoise, is an injectable testosterone analogue with an additional double bond at the 1,2-position of the steroid A-ring. The undecylenate ester is an eleven-carbon fatty acid that produces a long, smooth release pattern after intramuscular injection.
Pharmacology and kinetics
Effective half-life is approximately fourteen days. Once-weekly or twice-weekly dosing produces a stable serum profile. Boldenone aromatises at roughly half the rate of testosterone, so estrogen control with anastrozole is generally easier than on a pure testosterone cycle. The compound's defining side effect is a substantial rise in red-blood-cell production, which is what drives the famously vascular look it produces.
Where it fits in a cycle
EQ is a slow-build, lean-quality compound suited to long off-season cycles of 14–20 weeks. Typical bodybuilding doses are 400–800 mg per week, almost always alongside a testosterone base. It pairs well with testosterone enanthate or cypionate for sheer mass, with masteron or primobolan for recomposition, and with trenbolone enanthate for advanced contest prep.
What to expect
Slow, gradual lean-tissue accrual without the water retention of testosterone-only cycles, increased appetite, and a marked improvement in vascularity from elevated haematocrit. Blood pressure should be monitored — donating blood once or twice during a long EQ cycle is a common practice. Standard SERM-based PCT applies.
Blackbird Pharma's preparation
Boldeno UD250 is suspended in pharmaceutical-grade castor oil with benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol co-solvents — castor oil is the only carrier with sufficient solubility for the long undecylenate ester at this concentration. Each batch is sterile-filtered to 0.22 µm, vialled in 10 ml multi-dose amber glass, and supported by an independent EU laboratory certificate.
