ANADRO10 — IN DEPTH.
What Oxymetholone is
Oxymetholone, commonly called "Anadrol" or "A50," is a 17α-alkylated DHT-derived oral anabolic-androgenic steroid. It is one of the most potent oral compounds ever produced and was originally licensed as a treatment for severe anaemia and cachexia.
Pharmacology and kinetics
Oral half-life is approximately nine hours. Once- or twice-daily dosing maintains effective blood levels. The 17α-alkylation that makes oxymetholone orally active also makes it hepatotoxic, so cycles should be kept short and supplemented with TUDCA, NAC and milk thistle. Oxymetholone does not aromatise directly but exhibits progesterone- and estrogen-like activity at the receptor level, which is why aromatase inhibitors are often ineffective at controlling its water retention.
Where it fits in a cycle
Anadrol is a kick-start oral, used in the first 4–6 weeks of a longer injectable cycle to drive rapid early-cycle strength and mass gains. Typical doses are 25–100 mg per day. With Anadro 10 mg capsules, that translates to 2–5 capsules daily for low-dose recomposition or up to 10 daily for an aggressive bulk kick-start. It pairs naturally with a long-ester testosterone base and a nandrolone or trenbolone partner.
What to expect
Dramatic strength and bodyweight gains in the first 2–3 weeks, much of it water and glycogen rather than lean tissue, plus a substantial rise in training capacity and aggression. Side effects include water retention, blood-pressure rise, possible gynecomastia despite the lack of direct aromatisation, lipid disturbance and meaningful liver-enzyme elevation. SERM-based PCT and a liver-recovery period are mandatory.
Blackbird Pharma's preparation
Anadro 10 is supplied as 100 oral capsules of micronised oxymetholone in microcrystalline cellulose with a gelatin shell. Each batch is supported by an independent EU laboratory certificate confirming identity and per-capsule content.
